Hi There!

Welcome to Suna Bodycare—herbal care for every body, lovingly made the homemade way. I’m so happy you've found your way here.

For over 15 years, I’ve been reading labels, researching ingredients, and trying countless products—only to be disappointed by the results, hidden additives, and the shockingly low standards set for what we put on our bodies. Many conventional products are filled with chemicals that aren’t just harsh on our skin—they’re also harmful to our overall health and the environment. Did you know? Our skin is our largest organ, and it can absorb up to 60% of what we put on it. Every ingredient matters. That’s why I believe we should nurture our bodies—our vessels—with love, care, and truly clean skincare.

When I became a mama, everything shifted. I decided to take full autonomy over what I put on myself and my family, and I began making my own herbal products with ingredients I could fully trust. What started as a way to protect and care for my little one has grown into Suna Bodycare, a place where other people can also feel confident knowing what they’re putting on their skin is safe, gentle, and made with intention.

I craft each batch by hand in my kitchen, using organic, thoughtfully chosen ingredients, often with my 2-year-old by my side (or on my hip). These creations are rooted in love, care, and a whole lot of intention. I hope you feel that in every jar.

With all my heart,

Kara

Sustainability

Gentle care for you, and thoughtful choices for the earth. Our products are packaged in glass, cotton and compostable cardboard with recycled paper labels to reduce waste and support reuse. We use carefully chosen shipping materials—boxes and packing paper made with recycled materials and biodegradable tape. When you're finished, we kindly ask that you recycle or repurpose both the product containers and shipping materials.

Because we believe your skincare should be kind—to you and to the earth.

Nature’s Variations

Because our products are handmade in small batches using natural ingredients, you may notice slight variations in color or texture—but rest assured, the quality and effectiveness remain the same in every jar. It's just all part of the beauty of nature and our small business.

Storage and Shelf Life

Made with herbal-infused oils and without preservatives, our products are freshest within 6 months. To keep them at their best, store in a cool, dry place. If you notice a change in color or scent, it’s just nature’s way of saying it’s time for a fresh batch of goodness.

Shipping

Because we craft each product in small, intentional batches, it may take 1-2 weeks to prepare your order—shipping time not included. We truly appreciate your patience as we take a slower, more thoughtful approach. Once it ships, you’ll receive tracking info to follow its journey to you.

As our products are handmade with natural ingredients, we’re unable to accept returns but your experience matters— if our products did not meet your expectations, please reach out to us. We’re here to listen, learn and help!

The Gentle Role

of Alcohol

For a few of our products, we use a small amount of organic grape alcohol at the beginning of the herbal oil infusion process to help gently draw out parts of the plant that oil alone can’t reach — like certain plant actives and compounds. It’s a traditional folk step used for centuries that makes the infusion more potent. By the time the oil is finished, nearly all of the alcohol has evaporated, leaving just the richness of the herbs behind — and none of the irritation.

A Reminder

Before you Use

As with any new product, we recommend a patch test first—and discontinue use if irritation occurs. If you have any concerns about a specific ingredient—especially if you're pregnant, nursing, or have a medical condition—we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider before use.
